The musical experience “On the other side of the mirror”, as imagined and presented by the duo Cordelia, comes to shake up the conventional landmarks of the chamber music concert. Contemplation, humor and rapture are at the rendezvous as the two experienced musicians of this violin-ensemblepiano lead their audience into an innovative musical adventure by highlighting a diverse repertoire from the work of revolutionary composers or politically committed to their time, as well as original compositions by violinist Vanessa Marcoux. Inspired by the resilience of these artists for whom escape to fabulous musical landscapes was the only possible way out of the realities of their time, Duo Cordelia testifies to the depth of our essential relationship with music. And at times, the repertoire giving way to improvisation, the room unites for a moment in an impetus of shared creation.
