Le CSL fut fondé en 1972 et, à ses débuts, plusieurs concerts eurent lieu à l’église Saints-Anges-de-Lachine. C’est donc un heureux retour au bercail, pour un concert intitulé Noël céleste. Pour l’occasion, un quatuor à cordes, un choeur d’enfants et l’organiste François Zeitouni se joignent au CSL dans des oeuvres de Mendelssohn, Gjeilo, et des airs traditionnels.
The SLC was founded in 1972 and, at the beginning, several concerts were held at the Saints-Anges church in Lachine. It is therefore a happy homecoming for the SLC – some members have been with us since the beginning. Let’s celebrate in style with a Christmas concert called Noël céleste. For the occasion, a string quartet, a children’s choir, and the organist François Zeitouni join the SLC in works by Mendelssohn, Gjeilo, and traditional carols.
