This is a Coffee Concert. Arrive up to 45 minutes early (9:15 am) to enjoy coffee and conversation before the concert starts at 10 am.
The Revolutionary Drawing Room performs repertoire of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, the age of the great European revolutions. They use period instruments and bring to audiences that sense of exploration in which composers and players of the time were engaged. The Revolutionary Drawing Room give two more concerts on July 11 and July 12.
Cet ensemble joue un répertoire de la fin du XVIIIe et du début du XIXe siècle, l’âge des grandes révolutions européennes. Il utilise les instruments de cette périodepour donner au public ce sens de l’exploration dans lequel les compositeurs et les acteurs de l’époque étaient engagés. Deux autres concerts les 11 juillet et 12 juillet.
