The Vienna Piano Trio, founded in 1988, has been hailed as one of the “world’s leading ensembles of piano, violin and cello” (The Washington Post). Having won numerous prizes at international competitions, the trio studied with the Haydn Trio Wien, Isaac Stern, members of the La Salle and Guarneri Quartets, and the Beaux Arts Trio. The trio is composed of pianist Stefan Mendl, cellist Matthias Gredler, and violinist David McCarroll, who joined the ensemble in 2015.

Fondé en 1988, le Trio de Vienne avec piano a été salué comme l’un des « éminents ensembles de piano, violon et violoncelle au monde » (la Washington Post). Gagnant de plusieurs prix à des concours internationaux, il a étudié avec le Haydn Trio Wien, Isaac Stern, des membres des Quatuors La Salle et Guarneri, et le Trio Beaux Arts. Le violoniste David McCarroll s’est joint à l’ensemble en 2015.
