ReWatch the interview from Saturday Sept. 19th at 19:30 EST on Facebook Live with tenor Gioacchino “Jack” LiVigni, host Don Adriano.

The native from Brooklyn, is a graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts, honed many of his stage and repertoire skills at AVA and began bringing them to the international stage while still a student at AVA.  Mr. Li Vigni made his Metropolitan Opera of New York debut in 2004 in Boris Godunov, and was seen again at the Met in Lohengrin and Parsifal, and covered roles in Nabucco, Ariadne auf Naxos, Rosenkavalier, and Samson et Dalila.

Gioacchino is  also voice instructor for the prestigious Jette Parker Young Artists Program at Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London. He is also on faculty at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and Brooklyn College CUNY.  He trains many leading vocalists singing on every major operatic stage, and recording for major record labels.  His students have been recent winners and finalists of major competitions like Operalia, Cardiff Singer of the World, and the Francisco Viñas, as well as being part of young artists programs like that of Covent Garden, Bayerische Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper, Komische Oper, Theater an der Wien, Oper Frankfurt, and Stuttgart.
